Hey MB, did you get a 411? And if so, can you compare it to the S5 for me. I really like the thoughts of a 4.5 inch mudder blade, but don't know if it's worth it to me (seeings how I have 3 five inch blades) to buy one. I mean I WANT one, but can I justify the money outlay?

I'm back Skunk. We had a meeting of the minds and then I went home. I ordered a 4-11 but it hasn't come in yet. I have no idea when it will ship. I wish i had and S-5 to compare it to.

The only udder mudder that I have is a Scrap Muk.

The S5 is a nice blade, kinda like a Wardog with a wider (height) blade. I like mine, but at times it seems to me just a tad to long for most (which isn't really that much) use.

I am hoping the 4-11 will be all I hope and dream. I have been incredibly happy with the 13-11 and my 7-11. Heck I didn't know what I was going to use the 13-11 for until I held it. I'm getting some use out if it at home.

I was toying for a while about getting a 711, but then I just really like my Bulldog and it's 7.5 as well, so I reckon I'll just stick with it. With that and the 911 then the forthcoming FDM, I should have the large blade sizes covered. Now like I said, I am torn between actually ordering the 411 or one of Architects Yard Keepers (if he still has them).

AND I find I am asking myself, do I really need a SOD? I mean I like it, but will I use it or would it be better to unload it for something I would use once in a while. Like I said, I have the Bulldog AND the Regulator for 7.5 inch blades and the 911. Plus If I find I really want just a touch more than the 911 I've got my BWM. Decisions decisions, so many knives and so little money!

I skipped the 9-11 for a 13-11. But I have an M-9 in the stable, at least for now.

The M9 would be a really good intermediary blade, jumping the gap from the smaller toward the larger size when you don't want the extra weight of the 1311.

I also find myself thinking about getting rid of my BlackJack Maringer Vorpal sword. It's just hanging in the garage now in it's sheath.

Between the yard and the Swamp I have about every size covered pretty well. 2.5 to 13.5 covered. The only thing I don't have is a 6 inch blade. I figured 5.5 is close enough. Everything else is covered.
