From what I have heard, the LMIW sheaths are the Busses of the sheath world. Dang, I almost ALWAYS call it Iron Mountain, instead of Lost Mountain. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

The Spec Ops is my sheath of choice now...but I like the LMIW sheath because it can hold altoid tins filled with little emergency whatnot.

The only reason I don't have one is that at the time I didn't have a knife big enough to fit one of their sheaths.

Spec Ops are right up there in quality though.
I have one Spec Ops that is not as beefy, and one that is VERY overbuilt, I like the overbuilt one.

FDM was the original name for the 1311. Then it was called the MOAD by the squirrel.
Jerry called it the FDM cause he said it couldn't be built for the price Dan was gonna charge. So he called it the Fairy Dog Mother, as in fictional character.
