I sharpened up the wiener dog i got. It takes for ever to sharpen that steel

I love 154cm but only have been able to get a edge that works with it. hated letting the slabs I had go and the muk isn't going any where but without a good edge I wasn't getting the most from it. and as tough as yard 154 was I had a HCLE that was even tougher for some reason. had a working edge on it once and managed to ruin that trying to get if sharper. makes me wonder if Elmax is maybe a better steel for me until I get my sharpening skills up.

It's all in the angle you use. Each blade grind has a angle that yields the best cutting edge

Well my first kydex experience went pretty well, I reformed my Scrapy sheath. I got rid of the rattle but I wanted more retention so I drilled and got ready to put a rivit in only to realise I have 060 not 080 rivits but I did have a little bolt and nut that fit well so they are in there untill I get one 080 rivit. LOL
Now what do i want to make a sheath for hhmmmmm?
