Greaser I don't think anyone is more disappointed than I am. I am more disappointed in what happened in my state than anything else. The rest is just pouring salt on a wound.
I have to say though I can't afford to sit around and pout. We survived the past 4 years and we will survive the next 4. I'm not saying it will be easy or pleasant.
For the most part I will go about my daily life adjusting to the changes that have been forced on me.
Realistically it has caused me to become ashamed of my favorite state and I will be looking for a place that more closely resembles my values when I retire. I have no choice but to tuff it out here since I have nearly 20 years at my current job and 7 more until I can pull the plug.
Even with all that said. I have a family to support and a country to protect. Nothing about me has changed and no one can do a thing to change who I am or what I am about. I will do my best to be the best Father, Husband and American that I can.

To add to that.
My goal is to make where I live a better place. I try already but I will have to make renewed effort.

[color:"red"]I can and will because if I act on what i feel right now I will be in a bad way.
We survived the past 4 years and we will survive the next 4. I'm not saying it will be easy or pleasant.
[color:"red"]Its not just the next 4 years this damage will most likely take our lifetime to fix.
For the most part I will go about my daily life adjusting to the changes that have been forced on me.
[color:"red"]I refuse to react this way I fought to defend freedom just as you do and the people I fougt for threw it away like it was trash just for a free ride. Realistically it has caused me to become ashamed of my favorite state and I will be looking for a place that more closely resembles my values when I retire.
[color:"red"]there wont be any left thats the problem.
I have no choice but to tuff it out here since I have nearly 20 years at my current job and 7 more until I can pull the plug.
[color:"red"]I have 13 but most likely there will be my civic duity to do when I should have been able to, we have to pay for the ones that wont. a country to protect.
[color:"red"]Not the country I signed up for, and the constitution that you swore to protect will dissapear also.
Nothing about me has changed and no one can do a thing to change who I am or what I am about. [color:"red"] Nothing has changed about or in me either but I am now considered the enemy because I will not be lead down this path quietly.
I edited this to make it easier to tell what I am adding.

I will do my best to be the best Father, Husband and American that I can. I hear you. We all have to deal with the cards we are dealt, right up until we choose to play at a different table. This is one of the biggest reasons why I moved from Arizona to the northern Rockies, almost Canada. In my life, AZ went from extremely to conservative with about 1.5 million people to very modern/liberal with fewer freedoms and more cost. Add to that there is now 4 times the number of people, many of whom invaded from the commie state to the west trying to get away from the very restrictive laws in place there, only to move to another state and start pushing to get laws passed that would re-create the very nightmare they just fled. I will say that since I moved, AZ has started standing up for it's rights more, to their credit, but I still won't go back. Too many people with too little water, and very few folks understand where the water actually comes from. Six million people sucking on a sponge that can go dry way too easily... no thanks. Where I live now is much more like where I grew up, the people are friendly and down to earth, crime is low since there are more guns than people, a handshake still seals a deal and thankfully the winters slow down the increase in population enough to truly make this "The Last Best Place" for those who love freedom. Wyoming, Montana, northern Idaho are the best places to look at if one is seriously looking for a place where there are more people like us than not.

I was mostly frustrated with the people last night more than the results, I had higher hopes for my fellow countrymen.
Psyop, you are right and a lot of people have a hard time accepting that when your choices are only the left hand puppet or the right hand puppet they are both attached to the same clown pulling the strings. Illusions of freedom are good enough for many though, as long as they have the latest gadget to tinker with so as not to get bored, instead of picking up a book to enrich their gray matter. Those who can look past the divisive distraction method to see the bigger picture usually tend to plan ahead enough to be ready for most scenarios, or at least able to adapt to them easier. Food, bullets, gear, etc is right.

The depression so many of us are feeling is due to love of and concern for our country, not whether we "win or lose".
On a brighter note, Happy Birthday RN!!!
