I agree torture is torture no matter if its man or beast. I don't trophy hunt but if a bone tree walks in front of me I will not say no. And I always do my best for a swift clean kill. And the meat tastes better that way

Yeah. I can understand that you can shoot so many bucks that you can't possibly eat them yourself and just want the trophy, but there are organizations out there who will take the meat and give it to homeless people, you can sell it or you can give it to friends and family. No need to leave the rest to rot while you take the antlers and skin home.

A pure trophy kill is wasted to me and in a way is really disrespectful to the animal that gave its life to you and nature in general.

I held one under water for 30 seconds then took it out
Opened it and it burned pretty well still!

Campfire is old Osage orange from a fence row. The experiment was with cat tails from around the pond. Sorry but the auto correct screwed up the earlier ponds
