So sad. The one is a yellow lab that was beaten. She has bit my pants but missed my leg. It's sad but she needs put down but the current owner just makes excuses. She has bitten others and he has two daughters. It's not worth the risk to me.

The dog was six months old when I got him
My wife and I were visiting her best friend
We then walked up to the friends sisters house
When we got there blackie tether was so tangles up he couldn't sit down
Hot day in the middle of summer with no food or water
Two little girls in a wading pool splashing water at him
He was foaming at the mouth and his eyes rolled back

It took me over two hours to calm him down enough to give him water and untangle him
When done I walked back to my truck, then drove back there
I told the lady I was taking him and if I ever heard of them getting a dog again I would be phoning the SPCA
When here husband got home he was mad because he wanted to shoot the dog

The final straw came when we were out, the dog ate through a door to get in and tore apart 17 kittens inside

My youngest brother was 14 at the time and I was really worried that the dog would hurt him or one of his friends

What a shame. I hate when people screw up a animal for no reason. Either you take care of it or you don't have it.

The two I have now are brother and sister
They will turn four on Christmas eve
Mom was a stray that had the pups under a trailer
Local cop phoned my cousin that runs a rescue group
She caught the mom and all the pups except one, they were about five months old at the time
My cousin found a home for the mom and kept Barry, five months later the cop phones her again the other cop is going to shoot baby when he gets on shift as she had been feral for ten months
My cousin rushes up there and manages to capture her
Nobody will adopt these two dogs because of their behavior problems, Lana keeps working with them but she has six other dogs plus rescues and such
A week before Easter her aunt (my cousin) hears I am looking for a dog (our 17 year old rescue just died a couple months before)
The Wednesday before easter my youngest daughter and I go to meet them
After a couple hours I was going to leave without them, but my daughter wants to take Barry so I do so on a one week trial

Neither Barry or Baby do well without each other, easter Monday I pick Baby up on trial
So far they are doing real well and they are constantly getting better behaved

Both of my shepherds are rescues. They each have a few issues but are great dogs overall.

Don't know about where YOU are, but here on the way to work tonight, the moon was SO red. I knew something was going on and the first thing I thought of was Israel. Sure enough when I got to work they were talking about a very large explosion in Gaza.
