I am warming up to the boltaron for sheath making. It just takes a much lower heat and even then less time for it to form..

I am warming up to the boltaron for sheath making. It just takes a much lower heat and even then less time for it to form.. I am running it at 380 and pressing it for 10 min or so. It still rolls a bit but not to bad what temp are you running MB?

340 and I only heated it for 6 minutes and got an excellent press and form.

You could probably heat it for 4 min at 340. I may go down to 325 to see how it does.
I had a sheath that I messed up and tried to break it. It seems pretty sturdy.
