How are you doing today? Big plans?

Nothing big. Going over to the inlaws for lunch. My wife is working so I will deliver dinner to her in the afternoon/evening and then drop of pecan pies at all the substations for my guys that are working today.

Nope no turkey. Its harder to screw up steaks and we dont have to cook all day <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think Turkey day is a busy one for our fire fighters. Always a couple turkey fryer fires every T-day.

Then they usually run for medical on all the dysfunctional family gatherings we get sent to. You know the ones where all the family that hates each other gets togther eats, drink heavily and starts mutual combat.

Thats exactly why I am hopeful lol.

I know all you public service men/women dont get a break on holidays(maybe worse) and I thank you for all that you do.

I never ceases to amaze me what people will do with regularity. Tomorrow there will be fights between middle aged ladies over items on sale for black friday. At least one of them will involve serious injuries. The rest are usually just bruises, scrapes and hurt ego's.

It cracks me up how people act to save a few dollars

Im really hoping the locals get the turkeys fried before they drink too much beer.
