I got distracted watching sogknives vids on youtube. Idk how this ended up as sogknives must have been my auto correct. I gotta watch that. I've never owned a SOG knife, don't plan on it either.

My spell check is automatic and it changed it on me. I didn't care for their customer service and I find their blade metal to soft. They can't
Hold a edge it just rolls right over. And the finishes don't hold up worth a BLEEP.

I figured as much. The kin companies standout in a market of junk fixed blades....for the most part. I also like how the busse kin companies do larger blades. High quality large fixed blades are harder to find than small ones, IMO

Interesting that the company that got the contract for the navy seals issue knife would be better quality. No wonder guys buy there own personal blades.

SOG got the contract for the issue blades. But now I know why they go buy custom knives to carry. I have throwing knives a mini pentagon and a trident and they make a nice edge but the edge just rolls over.

Hey Dogs.
Personally I do not like AUS-8A too much... On a folder it will do, but it's too soft for fixed blades IMO.

Hello elof, I agree aus 8a isn't for me either. My dad has got a A.G. Russel 1865 pattern bowie in that steel and I don't like it
