I can and I will..... I love the War Dog handles, I just wish my Boss Jack had them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> We will see what Dan's got planned for the 611, though. I can be very patient.

Really I'd just say take the War Dog and give it a 6.25" blade, save the choil. That would be a fine blade.

I have a 511 and agree that the handle dosnt fit it well. I think its more of a handle to blade ratio that seems off. What I think would be perfect is a Scrapmax 340 sized knife that is thick and SR101. Its the perfect size for edc IMO

And by the way, who said that SR-101 rusted easily?
I decided to strip one of my 311s. Decided to etch the SYCKO before stripping... Tried a few types of domestic corroding cleaners to get it to rust some... two small spots after a few hours in total
