You guys got any special gifts this year?

if I had a bow I would just put it on my AK. I also picked up a couple reels. other than that spendig time with my family and being able to go hunting this year is plenty of gift for me.

@Marshall... I thought the youngin would love the paper too but she didnt. I can tell she is overwhelmed though, to many new things lol

My family doesn't really do the whole gifts on one day thing. We give through out the year so people get what they need when they need it.

I didnt get anything for Christmas lol. I purchased enough stuff for myself over the year. The 1311 and my new to me GEC stockman are more then enough

My buddy got wrapping paper from a dollar store and it was so tuff that he had a hard time ripping it LOL

My parents complain we dont visit. I always reply with...why do you buy so much for Christmas? You could put half the money towards airline tickets lol

Yep when we lived two hours away when I was growing up they complained the same thing. They could have visited us. It was a lot harder to pack up to kids and drive then for them to visit. Then we moved to southern Michigan and the complained even more. But at the conference retreat center where we lived and my dad worked they could have stayed in a nice hotel style room for free and had meals provided but they wanted my mom to pack the
Kids up for a four hour drive. Well we. After four years we moved back to a place two hours away and again same thing. For the past two year we have lived 30 minutes away and they have visited less than 10 times.

I know what you mean GD. Had similar experiences growing up with family and friends. Now that I live half the country away it seems I talk to them more and everyone complains. Funny how I remember trying to have BBQ's and get togethers and everyone was too busy lol
