Seems that the panel said he only had enough political capital to accomplish a couple of things before the midterm elections. Things like the fiscal cliff, social security and medicare reform, immigration reform, and the AWB were brought up but he might only have a chance to hit 2 out of 4 before the 2014 elections.

I am worried that the AWB will be top of the list, I was thinking why dont they just make it like the full auto stuff where you get a special lisc. for the scary stuff and call it good. I dont like the idea of any of it but if they have to do something do that.

this is what I was thinking. but fact is they have too much stuff they call scary. seems like they won't be happy until anything faster than a hand thrown rock is banned. then on the other end there's guys that want to see everybody walking around armed to the teeth. you would think that theres no such thing as a middle ground.

personally I'd sign a paper or get finger printed or whatever. I plan to do it for my ccw. hell make ms have to show that to buy any magazine over 12-15 rounds or something. my feelings just won't be that hurt. I still get carded for alcohol... but that's just me.

The fact of the matter is that what is being called assault weaons are used in less than 1 percent of all crimes. The percentage of homicides is very low. Any propsed AWB has nothing to do with reducing crime.

As long as the list is never allowed to be used to collect the firearms owned by law abiding people I have no problem with having to get a gun liscense.

Glad you like it Skunk. Please spread the word. Not so much emotion in it for most LEO's. They are a tool. We see the effects of legal owbership and use vs crimes committed using them.

In my experience the good far outways the bad that has come from them by a large margin. I think our founding fathers were very wise.
