Yep that's what I'm doing. I crawled under a a house trailer and ran wiring for $20 and Chinese food the other day. Tomorrow I lined a job stripping wall paper from a 1800s home and then putting on a skim coat on the plaster. The wall paper is from floor to the high ceilings

JMHO but if I was you I would enlist. It opens up so many doors. The administration dosnt matter. You wont regret it.

Joining the military was very good for me as a young man. I got to move around see a lot of differen things. I was able to knock out a few college classes and it helped me with discipline. After 5 years in the Army I could do or at least survive darned near anything.

Just think of all that ammo they pay you to shoot.

LOL I checked out the military last spring and almost joined the AF. I just misses the vision requirements for PJ CCT or base security forces.
The army recruiters I talked to didn't even know that the units I was interested in even existed.
And they didn't know any if the mos I was interested in. I talked to a guy that used to coordinate fuel supplies for fobs if the 160th SOAR and he said he would help me out in getting headed in the right direction and then he blew me off. So I was thinking Maybe USMC to make Tom SP Hobbes JJ and a few others proud but I'm not sure yet
