the 1311 is my first sykco blade, but the TAK and BK16 are both excellent blades in the 4" size. TAK has a choil, BK16 does not.

The only Esee I have is a rowen made HEST I found the handle on the 3 too small

I also have an original RAT Model 1 folder, plain satin blade. It is nice. VERY nice feeling in the hand.

the RAT3 by ontario has a slightly smaller handle than the ESEE3
I did not like the ESEE 3 at all.
I miss my original Basic 3, though - loved that old style basic handle!
