I gave my first RAT1 to a buddy for his son's first "real" folder.
then I started carrying a Spydie UKPK a year or so back to work and it fits a lot better in the office environment -- fewer twitches from senior management. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
really like the S30V -- it's right up there with D2 for edge holding and less prone to turning orange in my pocket.

Bark river. Man I couldn't remember them.

THOSE are Kissing Crane?!

Wade and Butchers I haven't heard of.

They're nice knives though. Those older blades seem to have some kind of magical quality to them. Sharpen up and work well.

Wade and butchers was an English company that knife is circa 1936

Senior management thinks I am nuts anyways they don't bat an eye over my military
For other people I tend to carry a smaller knife at work

the other folks at work are pretty sure I'm off my rocker -- but I'm the one they come to when they need something fixed, trimmed, or moved.
Before I had the RAT1 i carried a Wayne Goddard - when the lock started slipping, it went up on a shelf and the RAT1 went to work.
these days I alternate between the UKPK and a wharncliffe trapper at work.
