SO, you're gonna change the handle huh. What ya gonna put on it? I'm just gonna add liners so it matches the R4 I modded, then put it through the stone tumbler and sharpen.

I feel like I should know this already but are the blade coatings food safe? I saw the picture of Dan with his 511 and birthday cake and got wondering. NO THEY ARE DEADLY POISON! Don't EVER let one of the scrapyard blades touch any food! Seriously I figure they are VERY food safe. I Mean look at all the pics of folks cutting up food items with them. Man oh man. I hope Dan gives us an eighth inch thick 4 inch blade that ISN'T made like a dedicated skinner. He COULD lop of a half inch length and grind another sixteenth inch of the width of the 411 and he would have a really good carry and using blade.
