On my Glock 23 I have had 0 malfunctions. I have shot about 500 rounds of 9mm in it including steel wolf and Winchester white box. That being said maybe I just got lucky.

Here's a little know Glock secret......

You can fire 9mm, 40 S&W, 357 SIG, 45 GAP, 45 ACP, 10mm, 9X25 Dillon, and maybe a couple others by owning one 9mm pistol, one 10 mm pistol w/ 45 ACP upper and the appropriate conversion barrels

9mm Glocks will also convert to 22 LR with a conversion upper.

there's a few more conversion barrels that dont really get mentioned a lot. like .40 super and a few others. I have a .40 super conversion barrel for my FNP45. the round is supposed to be hotter than 10mm.

Morning yard how goes the battle?

I just ordered my first old school SYKCO,
[Linked Image from jerzeedevil.com]
Its a almost new regulator I cant wait to get it.

Greaser, that's actually a DE-regulator with the top guard chopped off. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yes, you probably were lucky with this as there's a pretty significant difference between 9mm and 40 casings which means you should need the 9mm extractor to avoid issues. Also, this could cause issues in regards to longevity of your 40 extractor but I am not 100% on this. The extractors that come stock now are cheap metal injected molded crap which will give you problems after your round count gets higher. I can highly recommend upgrading the extractor to a Lone Wolf extractor which is of much higher quality, durability and reliability being that it is cast from A1 tool steel.

For what it is worth, the only conversion barrel only swap that is recommended by T.R. Graham, Glock Armorer would be the conversion from 40 S&W to 357 SIG. All others will likely encounter reliabilty, durability, longevity, safety issues at some point. Take for example, 10mm to 9x25mm will have issues with frame battering that eventually will wreck your frame.

OK so buy a 9mm glock and be satisfied with it then is the final verdict, I can appreciate what glock did for handgun design but it still isn't my favorite design so my main reason for getting one is just for range time. I will be getting an officer 1911 or a m&p compact for CC.

So which one is harder to find the regulator or the deregulator?

I'm guessing the dereg would be harder to find since it was a just a modded version of the regulator.
