Its hard to believe it's almost March. Time flies.

I'm in a quandry. Custom lever for my Guide Gun or Ported barrel for a Glock.

yup, time really has been flying. i will get to spend the next 5 or 6 days playing catch up on some projects from last year. after that I may start doing some spring cleaning. don't want to waste any nice weather sitting around inside so the sooner I get going the better.

I did t notice the differences in the lever when I first saw those custom jobs. all I knew was they looked right. I'd hook up the lever first if I had to choose. but I'm also planning to get some hog hunting in this year so the lever gun would be more of a priority for me.

Thats the direction I am leaning. I have a lot of things like that that I want. But I also have to pick and choose with the limited cash flow.

i know the feeling... im in swap mode for the new stuff I want. just listed a piece of studio gear for sale. planning to take that cash and pick up a bolt rifle in 7.62x39. then i'm heading out to scout for places to hog hunt. turns we have some land and about 3 hours away that's right off a river. been hogs out there since before they kept records about them. they also had deer in this area 50 years before the place I hunted this past season. I'm really hoping this turns out to be a good spot for hunting.

how long have you had your guide gun?

i want a .357 lever but the prices just aren't making sense to me. I just can't see paying $800 when a 30/30 is $300. seems like all the guns I want have gone up $20o-$300 just in the past 3 years without panic pricing.

I have had the guide gun for a long time. It was one of the first ones. Its the older ported model.

I've got a ported 45 MB. Springfield Armory Ultra compact V10. It's nice, but you DO NOT want to shoot it close to your body!

This one just extends past the slide to reduce muzzle flip. Just found out it will put me in open class instead on tactical iron. So lever it is.

Ah, so it's a shooting sports gun then.
