From what I have heard, you won't be disappointed with a Remington 600.

I've had mine for about five years now
I think I want to get a synthetic stock and stainless steel action for my next quad gun
The real issue is the caliber
Level headed me says 308 winchester goofy me says 375 ruger

I say ignore the goofy part, but that's no fun.

I know it's hard
I have two 308's and I have used them on deer, elk, moose and black bear without issue
I already have a 450 marlin and 338 winmag so I even have grizzly covered

Since I want to stick with a 20" barrel the only thing that the various 300 magnum have on it is recoil and muzzle blast

My brother really likes his 338 federal carbine, so that might be a reasonable choice as well
