Things are great here in good ole North Carolina! It's almost spring time, which means it's almost motorcycle riding time!

I rode about 250 miles this weekend, even though it was pretty cool still.

I have been running outside for the last few weeks. Spring is coming. It still averages in the 40s, but after winter here, that is warm.

We were in the mid 60's both days over the weekend. Not too bad, but since I'm still getting over a sinus infection I wore my mask and bundled up pretty good. Wasn't cold, wasn't too warm.

It's raining like pouring piss out of a boot right at the present, but I'm working tonight and tomorrow anyway, so it's ok.

I actually enjoy a little chill during a run. I get a runny nose, but my core doesn't heat up either. Nothing a little snot gunning doesn't fix.

The older I get, the less I can take the cold air. I about froze this winter, and we didn't really have THAT cold a season!

I usually don't hunt bear but really thinking of heading out with my brother and our nephew for a spring black bear hunt

Of course I got sick back around Thanksgiving and stayed sick til about the end of January too, so maybe that had a lot to do with it.

Only bear hunted a few times, but its not for me. Here they use dogs with radio collars on, once the bear is treed they track it by the collars and just go shoot the bear. Not really a challenge except for the hike in and out.

I was tempted to shoot an elk from the hummer the other day. I drove through Wyoming and had to stop three times for herds of elk and a herd of antelope.
