hey HH!

i'm really thinking about getting a rodent 3. my experience with the war 3 didn't go so well but I still want a buseskin blade for edc.

The version I got has black g10 and it's on the heavy side, but it's not too heavy and I really like it. Not to say I don't like the 311 it's awesome too. The res c makes it much lighter than the R3, even though it's bigger.

i'm guessing the R3 is along the same lines as the sar3. if so I think it'll be just right. beefy with just enough blade to handle everyday tasks.

Unless something special comes along I'm going to save my money for Blade.

you sent the R3 to the custom shop?

i would love some OD g10 green on rats! a R3 and R6 to match my m1a would be pretty sweet.

Yep, I hadn't seen the resemblance to the SAR 3 before I held it today, and then it hit me. I think I'm gonna EDC it once I have a sheath. And the 311 will be my day hiking fixed blade.
