I agree with you lazi. I have had so many Pilots Survival knives (they ALL broke) that I can't count them, course I didn't pay for them. Anyway, this should be a great woods blade, at least size wise. Course that top guard might need to go.

yup, i'm thinking that's just right for the woods. but I like the top guard. I've always liked the looks of the badger attack and while this is different I could either one of those doing a good job on hike/hunt.

It could be more versatile with the top guard. I would just need to get one in hand and see how it functioned.
