I am bringing my new steel hiking this weekend with my girls. They get to watch dad chop wood, I know atleast one person on the trip is going to have fun <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Your girls are probably thinking that you just want to hang out with them. But actually you just want to play with your new toy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> The steel is always secondary. Getting ready to take them camping soon, cant wait to sit them around their first campfire together <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

My "kids" -- 40 and 41 years old -- still remember the great times we had fishing and camping and sitting around the campfire making pie-iron pizzas and toasting marshmallows. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I have always remembered how great my childhood was. My dad is a fishing nut. Has had us out camping and fishing since we where in diapers. Only way to raise 3 boys I am sure. Lucky enough to live in northern california where you could see a different terrain and enviro every weekend. Want my girls to have the same memories. Guess its the way I know how to raise 3 girls lol

As a kid I wanted to hang out with my friends instead of hanging out with my dad in the outdoors. Now, I really charish those memories.
