No problem with me, I like how they look, but I have been wondering what would cause the least friction in a cut; the coating, stripped and polshed, or just stripped. Im wondering if the milling lines would reduce the contact area or act as teeth.

Hey all. New here and just ordered my first scrapyard knife the 411. I have been eyeing a syk for quite some time and can't wait to get it.

Thanks guys, I have been a "knife guy" for a long time but have recently made the jump to top of the line semi customs which is what I consider the scrap yards and from what I have read and heard I will not be disappointed.

It wont disappoint. What it will do is make you scrap all your extra possessions to buy as much as you can. My 1311 just arrived, and it is impressive! Sat down and ordered a 411, just had to have 1. My mailbox is useless, unless I'm waiting for a blade to come!

Hopefully I'll get up to our camp this coming weekend, and warm it up. I can't wait for the 411 to get here. I've heard great things about the mudder handles, but have never seen one in person. I'm looking forward to experiencing it for myself!
