Recieved my bpiatt scales in the other day and I must say that I'm very pleased. The sheaths were easy enough to modify to fit after removing the cord wrap and fitting the new scales. They fit very nice with a few minute high spots that are not bothersome at all. I don't think they could fit any better without an individual custom fit. They feel just as comfy as my edc Rodent Solution, just a little shorter. I put a little mineral oil on the green canvas, to darken them a bit and used some blue Loctite when fitting the screws. The Moss Green/ Black paper is my wife’s new favorite and wants to take it to work to show off to the guys. She prefers a cross draw rig, so I made one up for her.

I NEED some scales! Thanks for the pics, and those sheaths look great as well.
I was waiting for the Rodent 3, maybe I don't need to

Hooker
If you have a 3-11 could you do a comparison at least as far as weight and handle thickness?

Thanks
MM

The 311 is 5.1 oz. and handle width .780" at ricasso,.720" mid, .760" butt, .645" at narrowst sections.
The Swamp Warden is now 3.3 oz. (was 2.2 oz.)and scales are .555" wide.
The Warden is closer in size to the Scrapavore, than the 311.

Very nice! I saw those on Bladeforums and liked the way they looked; it's good to hear that you like them.

Hook,

I've been considering adding scales to my Wardens, but was concerned about the weight they'd add. I like the SW as a "very lightweight piggyback" to a larger knife and therefore don't want to overburden the design with a really heavy set of scales.

Any idea how much they weigh?

They add one once, or about 30 percent. And add a little thickness for a piggyback setup. But if you like the feel of the Rodent Solution, you'll love the more compact feel of these scales.
