Got out and chopped up a 5 inch limb that fell in my backyard. The 1311 sectioned it in minutes. Just swung and let the blade do the work. Granted it was maple, but it was also old and dried.
This is a nice chopper!!!

Mine arrived today...what a beast of a blade.
