I have hesitated going up north to use some knives because of fire restrictions. Camping ain't the same without a fire.

I remember my 2nd K, seems like yesterday, little jeeps was playing in the big sandbox, little B was only a tinkle in our eyes... I agree Ron, for our move/vacation I recently found out you can't use the wood in the parks, I have to buy it outside! that's crazy but I guess I understand it, can't have millions of people chopping down the trees in Yellowstone and Glacier national...

Bump! Well guys - I'll be leaving in the AM for California for a couple of weeks - its going to be miserable! Not really - gonna rock. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I'll definitely be thinking of you guys while I'm on the beaches though. Hopefully I'll be able to poke my head in every once in a while and say hi!

Me too - its been a while! I'll try to do so though - we're going to my cousin's wedding and then making a vacation out of it, and my dad is bringing his laptop, so when I'm around him I'll pop in!

Thanks for the advice - I'll try and stay safe <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I was looking at packing.org to see what California's CCW laws were - there was of course, the big list for "states that accept a CA Permit", and then it said "State's permits that California honors: No matches found." Damned hippies. So... I'm rollin' out naked. The Arizona trip a few months back was nice because Idaho, Utah, and AZ all honored my permit. No such luck in CA!
