I was charged for my pair on the 7th, received a shipping notice last Thursday the 15th, and when I got home from my Elk hunt on Sunday night, there was a box waiting for me!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I believe they arrived on Saturday 11/17.

I won't lie; upon unwrapping them, the first time I slid the cardboard sheath off of one of them I giggled like a little girl. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> These things ROCK!!! It may have been nearly midnight, but I ran outside anyway and bashed through a few dead limbs and chopped on a stump a bit. I am truly amazed how deep these blades bite! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> I would have to say that in my opinion, they bite deeper than the KDSH, and that is just unreal!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> Amazing blade you dogs have brought to the Bussekin table! I just had time to open the box and look at them, and then we had to leave. gotta love the USPS -- had to go to the actual post office to pick up my $40 Norlund boys axe, but the box 'o' MOADs was shoved into my mailbox with a rubberband to hold the front flap partially shut.

spent the evening making a pair of leather pants for one of them -- that's a lot of real estate to cover!

once the leather is closer to dry I'll decide what color to dye it.

Got home from work today and as I was walking up I saw a parcel delivery notice on my front door.
With joy I though "No way, it can't be here already"
Alas the notice was for my daughter and not me

I just picked up my 1311s today!!! What a great day! Food and steel!!!
