Just finished this one up this afternoon. I thought it would be a really simple project but it turned out to be tough because the ganza version has a tapered handle area and I had to get the scales to fit properly. The hawk has a ghetto satin finish that looks similar to a competition finish. I used stabilized Koa, G Flex epoxy, and a single micarta pin. Im not 100% happy with how the handle turned out looks wise but I guess its ok. It IS super comfortable and beats the heck out of the cord wrap. I did some test chops and the woods absorbs shock much better than para cord.

You gotta use the IMG code from photobucket. It is the bottom option when you have the mouse on the pic. Just click the IMG code and paste it in the post.
