I agree, and I think it makes their 311 sheath look kinda expensive.

I think kydex is the way to go for a beater like the 1311. Throw it in the truck, Jeep, or Mule. Kydex doesn't rot or mildew like leather. And it not only protects the blade, it protects me from the blade. My cardboard sheath is getting ragged. I hope Jeff gets his 1311 soon so he can make my sheath. Mashed Cat was sure quick to get one ready.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Eric (Mashed Cat) makes a nice sheath, and is a great guy as well! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I hope you mean Kawasaki Mule (I believe that I saw one in one of your pics) and not the four legged kind.

Yea, its a Kawasaki Mule. I don't have a real one, but my next door neighbor has two donkeys. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

My 1311 is sitting in a Maxpedition R-19 Razorshell. Just about perfect fit. I can't imagine I would ever strap that monster to my body, so she rests in the nice soft interior with the 911.

I like those Mules. Great for the terrain where you are. If I had one, it would roll over on it's side every day. Maybe I need a donkey, too!

Ever since I read the overall length on the 1311 I have been wondering if it would fit in the R-19. Thanks for the info!
