time is relative. Besides, with all the daylight in the summer, you lose track of time!

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I had a friend down from Alaska and the were amazed that the sky actually went BLACK at night here in the summer.

Too quiet here. I am going to go move chunks of steel from point a to point b and back again for an hour.
Cheers all!

I have been thinking about a SS4 for a small survival/hunting knife. Now I may be considering a SR ratmandu. Any opinions?

I have both and really like both. The SS4 is probably the most comfortable knife I own in the hand. The RMD is not too shabby either. The RMD give you a little longer blade, but the SS4 is long enough for most chores in a true survival situation. The SS4 is INFI which is huge. If the decision were based on availability and price the RMD wins. If these are not concerns, I would still take the SS4 because it's so comfortable. I can never decide, so I get them all. It's like trying to decide which type of Ferrari to get, you are probably not going to be dissapointed either way.

I have been thinking about a SS4 for a small survival/hunting knife. Now I may be considering a SR ratmandu. Any opinions? Either one would be fine as a survival/hunting knife IMO. The SS4 might be harder to find. The SS4 is very light and handy and easy to carry most anywhere. The new Yard Keeper would be another good choice.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
