I like the Wardog's more and more each time I see them, they really do seem to be good wood workers !!!

Yeah Pit,
for a rubber handled hidden tang knife it sure do good on the wood. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Great pics and write up Myke- good to see you back!

How was the comfort factor for you between the choppers?
Thanks Rich!
No problems with any of them, but the KFU Camp & the Machete have the fattest handles & I do like a good hand filling handle.
The Koyote handle is long & mostly round so my hand naturally slid back during chopping, but once it got back there it was chop chop baby.

I was surprised when I first grabbed the 13,I remembered the large res c handles as being fatter. The 13's feels like the B11's.
Not a bad thing,it's just been awhile since I've held one.
And of course there's no beating Res C for comfort.

Looks like an awesome time for sure, and that is some beautiful scenery.

Have you stripped it yet?

Nice review and really good pics ! Always great to see the knives being used and also see what sort of area you have to get out in the wilds .

How do you strip a knife with a molded on rubber handle?

Kookery, WELCOME to the Yard! You are gonna like it here, so enjoy.

Many of the Dogs have stripped their blades, and as far as I know the handles have not been hurt in any way by any of the stripper that has been used. Most just recommend a good quality spray on or brush on (spray on seems to get the ease factor vote) and let it do it's thing.
