SP - .308 it is....my precious.

RN - Redbeard, ROFL. Got a good laugh on that, thanks man. More like "turning grey beard", hehe. I'm headed back out in a few weeks, may get a hog...not likely to take a whitetail though. Will put the ScrapMax front and center.

GD - Thanks man...I love her

Andy - I love those little Fallow. Are they relatively common in Aus?

SF45 - Thanks sir. The thing that turned me on was the browtines!! They are a good 7" long, about a 1/2" longer than the G2's. I bet he kicked a few people's [censored] with those things.

Sumo - Good to see you around, brother. How are you doing?

Going grey beard, I have one of those! It started about 3 years and 4 months ago.

Fallow deer, I would've never thunk it. I was thinking something indigenous to Australia. Very nice, Andy!

Very cool. Glad to see you both got some good action in with your B4's. I need to give mine a workout soon. The wife used the scrapmax on a couple of rabbits last week, but she only got shots of the aftermath sans meat. She said it worked great though.

Thanks guys. SP...CABS was next up on my rotation, so, I would elect it

The SS4 is just a tad thick, imho...still does a fine job if nice and sharp, but just not "ideal". CABS / B04 thickness is near perfection. I really really wanted to use the ScrapMax, but had to hold true to my standards. Next time...

Good luck on Monday, and be safe.

And...for giggles...

Adam (Spider Pig) and I are still trying to figure out how to get you guys down to Texas for a Road Show. Of course, we'd need a special release, just for Texans hehe, just kidding...unless you want to

SYKCO Texas Road Show! We can go eat here, and be "SYKCO's": http://celestore.com/

If you don't recognize the store..that's from the newer "texas chainsaw massacre"...and the bbq is phenomenal.

I'm suddenly craving brisket.

Good lookin' deer. The rack is really cool, like a cross between a moose and elk on a small scale.
