I would like to know how an INFI chopper (B11?) would handle this kind of abuse. I wonder if INFI would manage to take the same beating without any chipping
The chipping on the SR101 was so minimal that it didn't leave a mark on the edge after reprofiling, but as you can see from the pictures, there WAS a little bit of chipping/tearing. I'd seriously doubt that INFI would have chipped but I could quite easily imagine that it would have rolled more than the SR101 did !

Yeah, INFI won't chip or tear as much, but it can be dented an awful lot. I suspect the resharpening will get you into the tougher steel depths that should hold up better to the same treatment.

I find the very thought of hacking the heads off deer and butcher fury animals to be disturbing, almost to the point of exciting my inner primitive being to skip out of work early tomorrow go hunting and field test another Scrap Yard blade.
