OP pitman Junk Yard Dog Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 2,795 Vancouver Island, B.C	I keep eyeing up the great looking little 311 but never see any posts about them. I've seen a tabletop review on Youtube but have still not seen any actual user reviews ??? Anyone have any feedback that is using theirs regularly....good or bad !

I stripped one of mine and gave the spine a few runs with my Dremel to make it bite a bit more on my firesteel. Works great! The sparks fly just as well as they would using the edge. Got a Rainwalker kydex for my user and leather for the others. I love mine, so thumbs up here. Haven't got any pics at hand, but take my word for it. It is a little tank, which of course can take a lot of abuse. The grind makes it a hard use knife, and not a refined slicer/cutter. But a reprofile can change that. Having only one pancake, leaves more room for bacon! JYD#174 "Rasmutt"

I cut paper and cut cardboard and scrape all kinds of stuff all day. I even use it as a chisel all the time to shave down doors. The only thing this doesn't do very well is stab to broad of blade. Making leather sheaths for 311,711 and 1311 JYD# 144
