Outstanding customer service, I still have my Dog Father to send in for their look over. My chip in the DF is know where near what you have but is still requiring special attention. I need to get off my backend and get that into the masters.

I wouldn't want that to happen to any other knife. Some other company would make some excuse. You can't beat scrapyard's warranty.

Please send the knife back and we will replace it. I am sorry for the trouble...some things just happen, but this is why we have such a strong warranty
Dan and this is what sets them apart from other companies. absolutely awesome customer service!! sucks about the knife but like you said out of thousands and thousands of blades there is bound to be a lemon here or there.

That's too bad about your new knife , but as you say I'm guessing it's a flaw in the blade stock from the supplier .
This is why my chopper of choise is a Dogfather and I'm on the hunt for a Scrapper 6 as my allrounder . It's because hearing of a Scrap Yard knife failing is so very rare that everyone is shocked . Not to mention the Scrap Yards great warrantee and Dan always being RIGHT on top of it "if" you ever need it . Lucky for you! Ouch, but that happens and that is why we get our blades from the Yard, Swamp, and Busse. Customer service at its finest!
