The 1911 pistol is a great platform, legendary in fact.(to me at least) I had a thought possibly a brain fart, how about a sykco 1911, it would be cool. Shaped like a srkw waki but with a resin handle made for a 2 handed grip. No not necessary style knife but neither is having 15 different knives. I know a lot of ideas floating around but my 411, 511 and 1311 want company. Possibly a 711&911 but a 1911 would be great.

Jroden I knew about the scrap and thanks for posting, I was just wishing another sword style blade for the 11 series and have a resin grip handle. Sounds weird I know, but interesting.

If you are hoping for a Res-C two handled blade, Dan has told us its kind if a no go. To much twisting in a grip that large. Asked him at Blade 2010 when the skizzy was released, he said they tried, but it just doesn't work

Hhhmm how about the first ever Busse/kin diy blank. Not sharp but would only take a half hour with a set of stones to do. You could even ship it to ban or someone who offers that sort of thing. Holes added to handle area for slabs that we the buyer could do. Or simply wrap it with paracord or whatever the.buyer wants. Only thing guaranteed is the blank?

Ship another blank. If the handle messes up, that's on whoever put it there. Far as the blade goes I am sure they would warranty it like the others. Only difference would be handle. Just an idea. When I say blank I mean just like the other stuff they make without a handle and dull unfinished edge. If someone sharpens there jyd knife it doesn't void the warranty if they do it responsible.
