I actually picked up some wooden shoes last time I was in the Netherlands. Does a high-tech windmill count? That's all we have out here in Utah.

Tell the truth. You would get a kick out of seeing me in wooden shoes, wooden sheath strapped to my leg and giant field of power generating windmills in the background.
The best pic would be of the looks I get from people driving by wondering why the hell I stopped on the side of the highway dressed like an idiot.

Sounds like stills would be nice but video would be even better.
And the passersby and gawkers will make for entertaining photos too.

That sheath (and the loop) look great! It's wood; you can add attaching points later, if you need to.
