Not a bad idea.

Any day I'm above the grass and I'm not a zombie is a good day! JYD#138

Once you get the skin off, you can handle rabbit with bare hands. Just don't put them near your mouth or nose before washing them.

Well, shooting a deer while camping for weeks is not a good idea to me. I don't want to waste a life if I can't eat it all.

I agree. I don't get away like that to often. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

There are two pistols in the pic I posted. Plus, shouldn't you always have a pistol on you?

It is a Condor II from Maxpedition. You can finder cheaper packs that are nearly as rougged, but I have yet to find a company that makes them as tough for that kind of price. I highly recommend them. I have four bags from Maxped. and they all rock.

I have two, the Vulture II pictured, and the Sitka (I think) gear slinger. I was led to believe that the Vulture was the largest pack that Maxpedition makes, but I guess I was wrong.

My ONLY complaint with the bag is the lack of organizational compartments inside. Does the Condor have more?

I have seen $50 packs from a website (cheaperthandirt) that look nearly as rugged, have more pockets, organizational dividers & MOLLE webbing, but I would not rely on them as I would my Maxpedition packs. Maxpedition is like the SYKCO of the tactical gear market. Best price to performance, rugged, good warranty, and just downright bad @$$!

The other gripe I have with my setup is the color. I bought it in Black because it was a never used return that cost $40 or $50 less than a brand new one. The pouches are OD because I bought them from a forum member here when he was selling a bunch of gear. They are made by Tactical Tailor, which is also an awesome brand.

I need that add-on pouch/bag you have on the back; I love it. I'm going to go look up what that is.

I am going to buy another bag in OD or Tan and will likely go with a Maxpedition. I am going to look into the Condor II, for sure. I have refrained from becoming a pack/pouch junky because I already collect Knives, Flashlights and a couple other non-related things. It is really tempting, however, because I often find myself wishing I had a pouch in a different size, or that I could swap out bags for different uses or to change up colors.
