Still looks great and the dangler wont be seen that much when you are wearing it. My thoughts, as well. Definitely not a deal breaker. As it came from the maker, it was a perfect match. Just took the sealant differently.

I go back and forth between kydex and leather. There are benefits to both. I love the secure lockup on a well-made kydex sheath, but leather is just pretty and quiet.

My favorite setup so far has been one that 1066vik helped me with. It's the S6 sheath earlier in this thread. I took my kydex from Jeff (rainwalker), and 1066vik added a leather backing/belt loop to it with the firesteel loop. It is the best of both worlds.

I think there are uses for both I tend to prefer leather on bushcraft/classic styles and kydex on more "tactical" knifes.
