Yes. Join. I wouldn't say that to anyone, but if you are the person I hear you to be, you should. If you don't like it, get out after four years. Use you GI bill to go to college afterward.

The GI bill will pay your rent, food and college fees, so you won't have to work while you study. There is no better scholarship for a high school drop out. (no offense intended)
Also, when or if you start talking to a recruiter seriously, feel free to ask me anything. I know all about the recruiting system and help you weed through the bullsh^%
