Hi guys

Due to knife laws here in Germany a knife carried on your person can have a blade length of 12 cm (4,75 inch) at the most.


As the 311 seems a little small to me as an EDC all rounder i thought about getting a 511 and having it 'cut down' to length.

Anyone ever did something like this and can give me some pointers ?
Or does ScrapYard have some kind of Custom Shop where that could be ordered ?

Any suggestions are much appreciated .

Supposedly the 411 will be back for sale on the site according to what I've read. Just a matter of time.

What Hobbes said and you can find the 411 for sale sometimes over on BF. Check the Exchange AND the busse knife group for sale sections.

Yah. Unless you have some experience I wouldn't recommend cutting down the blade. I'm wondering why you think the 311 is too small? Also +1 on trying bladedorums.com there is a great secondary market for busse kin knives there.

shortening a blade would take a lot of grinding and be a total pain.

i would wait for the 411 to come back, its worth it for the mudder grip.
