Thanks for the input guys. I guess I will just have to save some more money and then make a choice.

S&J Hardware makes some really good jumbo safeties. I've read a lot of great reviews, many say they're better than the others mentioned here. I just ordered a jumbo safety and follower package on a certain auction site for $30 shipped.

Just to completely confuse everything, I'd like to suggest either:

FNH SLP

Fastest semi-auto shotgun around and it works better than most with many lower power loads.

Or

KelTec KSG

Yes, its a KelTec! But its short, has room for a ton of shells, and the newer iterations of it are pretty reliable as long as you shuck that pump action all the way.

Both brands have outstanding warranties much like Busse.

I'd love to have a KSG. Just not keen on paying $2000 for a gun with a msrp of $820.

SP I feel the same way. Honestly I don't want to spend a lot of money on anything right now. I want to have the gun and accesories I wanted for $600 or less. This will probably be a mid to end of summer buy/build as I'm still job hunting and need to pay for a few truck repairs first.

I would love a semi auto but its going to be a large chunk of money:

Vs if I get a pump. I can spend some money. Wait a few months. Add a part. Wait a few months add another parts.

If I do a semi auto, it would have to be purchased next fall probably unless I sold some kin. But everyone on the forums seem to regret selling kin they love.

So I'm going to probably do the slow and steady and see what becomes avalible when the time is right.

It's always fun to dream though. Soooo if money didn't matter and you could have anything you want what would you buy and trick it out with???

I would take the KSG. I love the bullpup design and you don't have to hassle with the NFA paperwork that I will have to file when I cut the barrel on my 20 gauge 870.

Yep it's freaking awesome but it's really over priced in the market. Most guns are about $100 dollars cheaper than the factory MSRP. Not a grand + over

Those KSGs are some fun little toys

Well worth it if you can find one a little closer to MSRP than 2 grand.

I don't know if I'd necessarily trust my life to it though, they are super easy to short shuck, but it might just come down to shooting it enough.

The FNH SLP is a really nice gun and I think it would probably be worth saving up for, but I have no personal experience with that one.

Both would be sweet but more than I'm willing to spend for a LONG time though.
