Found a dead tree hanging over a path in the woods, just waiting to hurt someone.
WELL NOT ON MY WATCH

On with the task at hand

Well, it didn't fall, as its branches was tangled with a tree on the other side of the path

So I got to chop some more<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

It took chopping it up into 3 pieces before it fell

OK, then to the more impressing part!
It was still hair popping sharp <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

With a job well done, I went on, and found a fallen tree that someone had been chopping on

Clearly not someone with a 1311! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Tested the edge again at home. BEFORE sharpening

NO DINGS
NO CHIPPING
NO ROLLING
AND STILL SHARP ENOUGH TO CUT PAPER WITH NO EFFORT

The 1311 may be the ultimate blade for the money. I love mine for sure.

Yep, the 1311 is a machete built like a high quality survival knife. Nice work!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Appreciate it guys!

It was good fun.

It truly is amazing how well it chops!

And it felt good to finally let it stretch its legs.

I was just thinking the same thing. I would have had to have gloves on during or blisters afterward.

Well, I did have gloves on.
But still, the 1311 just makes chopping a breeze.

My shoulder was, however, a bit sore the day after...
