n. the ceremonial practice one takes when one is officially inducted into Hogdom, The Rats O'the Cheesewheel or the Dogs of the Dog Bowl. The inductions are carried out by the illustrious leader of the Busse gods, or suitable representative, by knighting the inductee with a large knife or dog bone. The event usually involves copious amounts of food and alcohol and is generally followed by a multitude of celebrations such as the longest cigar ash competition, glow ring tossing and rubber pig flinging. Once inducted as a Hog, Dog or Rat, or all of the above, one is sworn to a lifetime of jovial caperings that involve Busse knives.

n. moniker associated with the Rats O' the Cheesewheel from Swamp Rat Knife Works. These Rats are cunning and devious in their ways. The little nibblers should not be underestimated in their strength, especially in large numbers, they can be a formidable force and have been known to fell large boars and dogs with ease. Their knives are among the toughest in the world and the Swamp Rat Rats often venture from the swamp to initiate the unwitting in the delights of SR101 steel.

SCRAP YARD DOGS

n the fierce animals found hanging around the dog bowl at Scrap Yard Knife Company. The Scrap Yard Dogs are a brutal, no fuss creature who hunts for its knives in packs or alone. Although they can at times be exceptionally cute and cuddly, one must always be on guard when in the presence of a Scrap Yard Dog as they ca, and often will, turn on you in an instant if their precious Resiprene C handled knives are threatened to be take,, especially if you're a Busse Hog or a Swamp Rat Rat. Threading carefully and asserting a pack leader mentality around the Scrap Yard Dogs should keep you safe. Most of the time.
