Hello all!

Often wanted/requested is a Busse folder...so many threads on that and great responses too....over many years.

And many know the stories floating around about customs and prototypes and so on...

The Swamp had/has a Rat Trap folder.

So, I'm asking...can we get a Dumpster Lid?

Rename it anything you like, but I'm liking referring to it as "Dumpster Lid" because it not only would fold, but we can try and keep a lid on this idea and offer this puppy as an exclusive if ever it exists.

Maybe I'm off, thoughts?

Would live to have one but I need more funds first. Wonder how a res C handle would work on a folder.

A little surprised nobody piled on with ideas.

So, how about this idea... War Dog is INFI (as are a couple other models)...hint, hint...this could be the folder so many want for ---that is yet to be.

And even if INFI is out, Dan likes to use other steels that would make for a sweet folder. And we already know the price would be very appealing.

May never happen, but I'd love to see one all the same.

Res-C is great on the fixed blades, and I did float the idea (over a year ago) of it as a scale material on a hatchet...but it seems making the material into handle scales for that (or a folder) may prove very difficult or impractical.

I'm like you and MOST everyone else on the forum and would like to see a Scrapfolder. BUT based on what Dan and Jerry have said in the past, I'm not sure it will happen again.

It was a huge PITA to go from fixed production to folder. IIRC, they had to outsource part of the work. Lots of good folks make good folders. I say, stick with yer niche and own it. wink

'Course, I WOULD buy a folder from the Yard.....

I know, I know...it's a long shot. Thread was just to play with the concept a bit.

We can close the lid and let her sink, I'm cool with that.

And I am certainly squared away on folders, but can say similar for fixed blades...and yet I keep buying and stay very interested in knives.

I don't know. Gerber has done it with great success with the Gator.

If Dan produced one I would get it, but I prefer he stick to making outstanding fixed-blades. wink
