In our area of the state (NOT where we live) the Mississippi and a drainage district locally called the Diversion channel is flooding badly.

That's what we all thought. There's a weather anomaly right now where winds are strong from both sides of the state and its causeing some strong weather in the center of the state

Probably Florida is so narrow (East to West) that the winds just whip across and meet in the middle.

Ya know, as I was setting here contemplating life's quiet vicissitudes (Yeah I REALLY liked Alf) I hit upon the notion that the Tali-Whacker would possibly make a GREAT pig sticker for you Aussies that hunt that way.

Good Morning Yard! Today is shaping up to be a wonderful day. Nothing broke before leaving the house for work, light traffic and great weather. Only thing missing was seeing some deer, turkey or fox on the way into work.

A prank on the boss was successufly pulled off this morning too. Cut off a top of a Keurig coffee canister and glued it on top of a hot chocolate canister. We put it into his box of coffee canisters and waited, and waited, and waited (he drinks one cup per day). There were 10 canisters in the box and he didn't grab the doctored on till the second to the last. He thought is was a great joke, seems he likes hot chocolate too.

bah! been raining all day...

Howdy guys!

Dreary looking here, but not a lot of rain. Probably a good thing, as my yard looks like a jungle.

I tried to mow today, but made a couple laps and discovered I had a flat tire. Made a couple more and I ran out of gas, so I gave up for the day.
