I don't need the robust body that the pro series cameras have for what I do, and the D80 is a much better photo out of the camera.

I'm wanting a newer model Nikon, but I can't justify it now that I don't make my living with it.

The D80 is a decent camera. I couldn't pass up the D7000 for the price.

No,I'd like a D7000 myself. The D80 is lacking in low-light shooting. And I don't even THINK about the D2 without flash.

If it's the least little bit dark, I use flash on it.

Bright daylight, I'll put that 4mp sensor up against anything I've shot with. But once it fades, it's awful.

I have a D1 that I still use. In the right light, it takes a great photo.

I almost used mine as a weapon one night. Got caught in a riled up crowd and got threatened. I grabbed the strap and was gonna swing it if I had to.
