[color:"green"] I was wondering how you guys know what the next knife that Scrap Yard Knives is going to make? I have seen a Bowie mentioned and a Mudder, I believe that is what I saw. Do you mean like the Swamp Rat Muddy M6? Or are you guys speculating AND really wanting these knives. I am curious. TIA![/color]

The thread that stated the Bowie was next is a good place to start <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

To cut a long story very short... Dan put a poll on saying 'what knife from a list do we want next', the poll got fixed so Dan decided he'd do the bowie next. A lot of us were baying for the INFI mudder so the scuttlebutt is that it comes out after the bowie... I can't remember if it is official that the mudders next though. We can but hope!

It was SUGGESTED that the Mudder would follow the Bowie due to the poll, but nothing is carved in stone yet ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

Here are some of the other knives we should be seeing:

The 'mudder' is a handle style for Resiprene-C. IIRC, it was first displayed in the "Bog Dog," a hunting and general purpose knife introduced by Dan and Patti's sister-in-law. Here's a pic from the www.swampshack.com website:

Scrapyard's Mudder is trading the higher hardness and higher wear-resistance of D2 for the higher toughness/impact-resistance, higher flexibility, higher ease-of-resharpening, and higher veneration as demigods of INFI.

That'll be a [censored] fine knife if it comes with a decent edge profile...
