I have always love Saddleback leather. However, due to tax etc it just is not a viable option for me. So I scrapped the idea of having a good leather briefcase for a while.
SaddlebackWith a resent trip to the midlands the wife and I stumbled into this place (Images taken from their site):
GroundcoverAs I walked in I saw the XL Briefcase, took it, turned around and bought it. :smug: - Dont worry, the smug fell when I had to pay

Three compartments; brass clasp and buckled concertina straps
Colours: Brown; Black; Tan
Dimensions: 44x33x12cm
A4 for reference:
Stitching is good and most of the briefcase appears to be made from one piece of leather, only inserts where the folds are, thereby minimising the need for stitching:

I am very pleased with the briefcase thus far. I can fit the work laptop (15 inch) with ease as well as files etc. I am glad I bought this and feel it can last me a life time. We will see as time goes by.
The only thing that bugs me. When you use the sling it folds the corners of the edge on the top panel where the handle is.
